Overview
The Riviera is an exceptional inland resort flanking the Riviera on Vaal Resort with golf course and spa facilities. Underpinning its allure are various quality restaurants, water sport, gym, car rental, river cruises and child friendly facilities. The hotel is an easy 45 minutes’ highway drive from Johannesburg. As such it presents a welcome sanctuary, not far from the Urban rat-race; which is isolated from the industrial and commercial activities of the town of Vereeniging.
All rooms at the resort have spectacular views of the river. There are a selection of standard rooms, family rooms, executive and garden suites on offer. In addition these rooms are well-appointed and furnished in old world charm style.
Riviera on Vaal offers a wide range of conference packages that can be tailor-made to suit every customer. The packages are drawn from the option of five different conference and function venues which can be arranged in cinema, boardroom, schoolroom, U-shape, banqueting and cocktail-style seating. Each conferencing facility is equipped with the latest conferencing equipment, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Our dining experiences are enhanced by unsurpassed culinary and unique old world ambiance. Dining inside or on the terrace, our well-known and loved dining and sundowner facility overlooking the Vaal River.
