Mpumalanga has the fourth-largest economy in South Africa. It has some of the most beautiful and fascinating geological formations in the world. In Zulu, Mpumalanga means ‘the place where the sun rises’. The spectacular  Blyde River Canyon is one of  the largest canyons in the world. It is also home to the almost alien Bourke’s Luck potholes. The diverse landscape of mountainous highlands;  lowveld grasslands and wetlands offer an incredible scenic backdrop to an area rich in cultural heritage. This is Big Game Country and offers a diversity of  wildlife;  amazing bird-life and exquisite scenery.  The world famous Kruger National Park ; one of the largest national parks in the world; lies in the  eastern parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo and is a  ‘must-stop’ before you leave. This is the province to visit!
